Sunday Evening Service Added to Roster

Norwood Wesleyan is taking the venture into the realm of Sunday evening service. We have been experimenting with this idea for about 3 months now, and we are sure enough that it's a success that we can make a formal announcement.

While it is not as fully attended as the morning service, it has been a blessing to those who do attend. The book of Revelation has been our choice of study material, and we have been truly inspired by what we have learned. This study is not apocalyptic in nature, but focuses on the spiritual symbolism of this epic book.

We hope that you will join us soon for a Sunday evening service!

As matter of note, we would like to congratulate Becki on the birth of her twin sons. Pastor Michelle was overjoyed to baptize these two, dear bundles of joy!

Belated Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!

Christmas 2010 turned out to be amazing! Thank God! Pastor Michelle has a few more grey hairs thanks to Christmas prep, but she thinks it was worth the sacrifice. Our kids and teens did a fantastic job with the Christmas play, "The Christmas Riddle." And the attendance was the best yet: aprx. 115 people packed into little, old Norwood Wesleyan! Almost everyone stayed for luncheon afterwards.

Norwood Wesleyan also had another candlelight service, the first in two years. What a joy to hear the Christmas story told in the glow of the magical flicker of candlelight!

Once more, thank God: thank God for such seasonal blessings, for the season itself, and for the grand and glorious Reason for the season.
